Aleta Detwiler, DMD

I cannot imagine my life without dentistry. From the moment I broke my tooth in third grade, I knew I wanted to create gorgeous smiles for others. I feel so rewarded by the interaction and relationships I build with patients. I love living in the same community I serve. I get to see the smiling faces of patients, friends, and neighbors in the grocery store or around town, and I am grateful to everyone who has been here to make it possible.

A Commitment to Education

So much is constantly growing and changing in dentistry that I constantly attend conferences and continuing education courses. My patients deserve the best I can give, and as an office, we are determined to provide the best treatment in the area. We attend courses on Lumineers® and Invisalign®, and we are members of the Quakertown Dental Study Club.

Office Life

I have gotten to watch many of my patients grow up and bring their own children in for treatment. I enjoy treating those new patients who are nervous about treatment and turning them into a believer of proper oral care. I am blessed with a team that is genuinely concerned with the well-being of the practice and our patients. We all work together to provide the best experience to our patients, and it amazes me what they come up with!

Family Life

I grew up in Pittsburgh and moved to Bucks County immediately after graduating. I feel so fortunate to have lived, worked, and raised my family in such a wonderful community. I live with my husband, Jay, in Sellersville which is about five minutes from the office. I have two adult sons named Matthew and Nicholas, and two grandchildren, Paige and Camren. When I am not spending time with my beautiful grandkids, you can find me in the garden growing my own veggies and herbs. I am so lucky to live near my family, and we have Sunday dinner every week to catch up with each other's busy lives.

Jay and I are passionate about giving back to our community. We are both involved in the PA program for Donated Dental Services, where I get to serve the elderly. Jay is an elected supervisor for our township and is passionate about public service.
